Associate Professor Anusch Yazdani

Anusch is a graduate of the University of Queensland (MBBS Hons) and completed his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) in Brisbane. Following a fellowship in minimally invasive pelvic surgery in Sydney, he returned to Brisbane in 2002 to develop tertiary referral units in minimally invasive surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Mater Hospitals. In 2006, he completed the Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), distinguishing himself by unique subspecialist qualifications in reproductive endocrinology, infertility and minimally invasive pelvic surgery.
Anusch co-founded the Queensland Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery (QIMIS), a not-for-profit organisation that conducts basic and advanced courses in pelvic surgery. His philosophy of evidence based, yet individually tailored care lead to the foundation of Eve Health Australia, a private women’s health centre.
Anusch is a Visiting Medical Officer to the Royal Brisbane and Women's, the Mater Misericordiae and the Greenslopes Hospitals, an Associate Professor the University of Queensland and a Director of the Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society (AGES). He joined the Queensland Fertility Group (QFG) in 2008 as Director of Clinical Research and Development.
Anusch is the training supervisor for Queensland’s only specialist infertility and IVF training programme. He is widely published in medical journals, has co-authored textbooks and lectures widely nationally and internationally.
Anusch has a special interest in endometriosis, pelvic pain, minimally invasive and microsurgery, infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, assisted reproduction (including IVF) and reproductive endocrinology.
Anusch has a uniquely personal approach to patient consultation and management with unparalleled attention to detail, diligence and patience.
