Danelle Groenewald

B.Nursing, MCur Mid, Specialist Clinical Nurse

Danelle is a passionate and experienced fertility nurse who has practiced both locally and internationally, for more than 14 years. She specialised in midwifery and then moved on to the related, specialist field of fertility.

As a mother of a young child, she relates passionately to the desire of a woman wanting to birth and love a child of her own. She finds purpose and meaning working with and supporting women and couples during a vulnerable time when they most need understanding, guidance, encouragement and support.

After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Danelle worked in a community maternal/obstetric unit in South Africa while completing her postgraduate studies in Midwifery. She gained experience and knowledge in both urban and rural conditions. She has worked in numerous settings, including King Edward Memorial Hospital in Bermuda, for a period of 9 years.

Her contact with women who had been through IVF treatment journey, observing their joy at completing the journey and becoming a parent, drew her to the fertility field. Now for almost 6 years, she has worked in fertility both in Cape Town and Brisbane.

Danelle consults at our Boundary Court rooms on Level 1.
